His role involves managing preconstruction activities such as cost estimation, value engineering, project planning, and risk assessment. Collaborating closely with clients, architects, and trade partners, Mr. Herlihy’s team ensures that designs are both practical and cost-effective, aligning with Seawood’s commitment to kaizen.

With more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Eric brings a wealth of knowledge and proven leadership to Seawood. His expertise spans a diverse range of projects, including multifamily high-rise developments, urban mid-rise complexes, industrial facilities, and office buildings. Mr. Herlihy’s exceptional ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, guide projects through design-development phases, and deliver results that consistently exceeded client expectations positions him as a key driver of success at the company, ensuring every project is executed with precision, efficiency, and excellence.

Prior to joining Seawood Builders, Mr. Herlihy served in a similar executive role where he negotiated and signed contracts exceeding $400 million annually. His leadership was instrumental in developing cost-effective strategies, maintaining comprehensive cost databases, and implementing innovative client relationship management systems. As a seasoned leader, Eric managed diverse teams, including estimators and business development professionals, ensuring alignment across all preconstruction activities.
